Scottie is a 27 year old Appaloosa gelding. He is about 16hh and his color is dun with a spotted blanket. He is owned by Elizabeth Moscaritolo and used in our lesson program.

Scottie is the sweetest and kindest horse in the barn! He is always happy to greet everyone and gently ask for a treat! Scottie is very easygoing and gets along well with others. Although sometimes he can surprise you with some spunk! Early in his life, Scottie was a breeding stallion until he began his under saddle career. After finding his way to Elizabeth, Scottie participated in various activities, including jumping, team penning, and trail riding.

Scottie is our most reliable beginner lesson horse. He is slow and steady, a great confidence builder! He can ride English or Western at the walk, trot, and canter. He is great off property and out on trails. But don’t let his age fool you, he can get a little too excited at the beach!
